YES
- People would rather stay at home and use the internet than go to a library and read books. This is because the internet provides entertainment, social networks etc.
NO
- We tend to read more when we use the internet. We don’t notice it but we actually do read more. Examples of things we read on the internet are articles, blogs and online story books.
- More people read books since the internet. The main reason is that now we can research or be recommended and find books that we never could before.
- People read more due to the accessibility provided by the internet. That said, we also have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to reading anything on a screen.
